3X’S CULTIVATING MARIJUANA – KINGMAN
Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested three Kingman residents
early Friday (8/14) evening. Kurt Louis Oxos Jr., 20, was arrested for
producing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia, possession of weapon by prohibited person, along with two
warrants issued by Mohave County Superior Court for probation violation
and failure to appear, all felonies. Dylan Prescott Swint, 20, was
arrested for producing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession
of drug paraphernalia, felonies. Leslia Liza Suttles, 18, was arrested
for producing marijuana, possession of marijuana and possession of drug
paraphernalia, felonies. A tip received through the Mohave Silent
Witness hotline as to the whereabouts of a wanted felon identified as
Oxos led deputies to a residence in Kingman. At about 7:51 p.m.,
deputies responded to the 3500 block of Quail Lane. Upon arrival,
deputies covered the front door and the back door. As the deputy was
speaking with a female at the door, deputies behind the residence
advised that they observed Oxos through a back window with a gun.
Deputies entered the residence and detained three individuals,
identified as Oxos, Swint and Suttles. An initial search of the
residence, deputies confiscated a 9mm gun and observed a glass water
bong, a plastic bag of marijuana and a planter with several marijuana
plants. Mohave Area General Narcotics Enforcement Team (MAGNET)
responded to the scene and determined a search warrant was necessary.
Later, a search warrant was granted and served. During the search of
the residence, detectives located two plastic bags of marijuana,
numerous marijuana pipes, miscellaneous plastic bags containing
marijuana residue and two electric scales. Oxos was taken into custody
without incident. A history check showed Oxos to have a prior felony
conviction. Swint and Suttles were taken into custody without incident.
They were transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
