Citizens’ Action Team announces the acquisition of a Patrol Aircraft, to assist in aerial surveillance.

“We feel that the aircraft will be a great help in locating dump sites, spotting wildcat dumpers, following suspects, getting to outlying areas in a hurry, and the like. With the speed, special equipment that the airplane has and the 24 hour availability of the aircraft to our group, we can cover a lot of ground in a short amount of time.”

“The aircraft can stay airborne for up to 5 hours at a time, with speeds around 120 but can practically hover over a single location, and the photo equipment installed is excellent, which of course includes night vision.”

Currently Citizens’ Action Team has 3 rated pilots and they are looking for more.
